
DELTA ® -RADONSPERRE
Barrier against radon gas
System that acts as a barrier against radon infiltration from the ground.
The DELTA®-RADONSPERRE anti-radon system implemented horizontally on the smoothed concrete slab creates an effective barrier against radon rising from the soil.
A screed is then poured directly onto the waterproofing system.
At the same time, it will be necessary to ensure the possibility of evacuation of radon to the outside along the buried wall, for example by the implementation of a sheet with draining excrescences of the DELTA®-TERRAXX type which will also ensure vertical drainage of seepage water.
It is also possible to lay the DELTA®-RADONSPERRE system before pouring the concrete slab on a rigid support (concrete clean layer, rigid insulation) or on a bed of sand. Only laying on gravel is to be avoided to avoid damaging the membrane. It is however made possible by the prior installation of a specific geotextile.
