DELTA®- FASSADE COLOR
Colourful design variations on façades!
With a coloured surface available in seven standard color tones, DELTA®-FASSADE COLOR features an attractive in-depth effect to set additional design accents behind a range of widely varying materials – for instance, behind open or transparent façade materials such as timber, expanded metal, wire netting and glass. Back-ventilated curtain façades (BCF) offer a wide variety of design options thanks the numerous cladding materials, material combinations and fastening techniques (visible or concealed).
Use the façade simulator as a source of inspiration. Combine your façade cladding with the desired colour and let your imagination run wild.

Overview of the most important advantages
Possible materials for the cladding of the curtain-type, rear-ventilated facades:
Timber façades offer numerous individual design options. The profile and installation technique have a decisive bearing on the effect the façade appearance projects to the world. For instance, smooth profiles give the façade a simple, understated appearance. More rugged profiles and more generous overlapping strengthen how light plays on the surface and lend the façade a more vivid appearance. Installing the timber cladding horizontally makes high, narrow houses appear more generously sized, whereas vertical cladding stretches the proportions of the houses.
Water runs down timber façades along the grain of vertical battens. The timber dries quicker as a consequence. In addition, installing the timber façade vertically means there are no surfaces for water to stagnate or to become wet to different degrees. However, to ensure good back-ventilation double battening is necessary for cladding consisting of vertically installed timber.
Wood cladding facades
Wooden façades offer numerous individual design options. The profile and installation technique have a decisive bearing on the effect the façade appearance projects to the world. For instance, smooth profiles give the façade a simple, understated appearance. More rugged profiles and more generous overlapping strengthen how light plays on the surface and lend the façade a more vivid appearance.
Expanded metal
In addition to their diversity of surface finishes in comparison with other façade materials, expanded metals are also malleable. These turn façades made from metal into architectural highlights – futuristic, unusual and extremely individual. For example, in combination with expanded metals DELTA ® -FASSADE COLOR makes it possible to achieve a surprisingly in-depth 3D effect. Depending on the desired effect, it is possible to implement façades with powerfully contrasting colours, for example expanded metal with an “orange” tone or in harmonious colours, for instance, metal fabric with an “aluminum” tone.
Panels made of perforated sheet metal
With different profiles and holes, perforated façades made from sheet metal offer multiple variations to design façades. The panels made of perforated sheet metal are not affixed directly to the façade membrane when being installed, but rather a vertical metal profile is slid between them.
Transparent façades / glass façades
DELTA ® -FASSADE COLOR can also be affixed behind transparent cladding materials made of glass, acrylic glass or plastic (for example polycarbonate). Moreover, because the transparent materials do not have to be expensively dyed or printed on, the coloured façade sheets contribute towards increased cost effectiveness. Transparent façades with a high proportion of glass and slim metal profiles in particular determine the language of modern-day architecture. For instance, glass façades and transparent surfaces radiate openness, and are both representative of and a byword for bright motivating working environments.
